The life is a series of lessons we begin to learn from the day our consciousness rises above our own self-existence. It was a giant leap in astronomy when Nicolaus Copernicus came up with a mathematical model which proved that Sun, not Earth, is the center of the universe. Similarly when we realize the significance of nouns (person, place, animal, thing or abstract idea) which are around us, we develop a better understanding of our surroundings. We realize the value or the reason why things are as they are, around us. As the ego melts away we become more receptive to all the positive energy coming in from various sources. Even the minutest form of positive energy can give us a big boost in understanding ourselves. There have been various examples in history of a seemingly weak ideas (energy) resulting in some of the most powerful movements. Mahatma Gandhi was the outcome of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi thrown off a train at Pietermaritzberg in South Africa. Perhaps a legend, but Sir Issac Newton was inspired to formulate his Theory of Gravitation by watching the fall of an apple from a tree. This is the lesson I would like to understand; realize the significance of even the smallest things in my life.
All these forms of inspiration, realization (self-realization) are floating all around us. I'll just use a single term for all forms of energy; just realization. Every form of realization brings us to a brink of the threshold for our consciousness. It is up to us to carry it beyond that threshold into practicality. This is the second lesson I would like to apply in my life; remember the significance I have realized. Because in remembering the realizations we're giving a chance for the realization to blossom. If we remember the realizations we will be able to sustain them for a longer period. The more we sustain the more the realization would become a part of our life. After all life is learning and applying the learnings in our life.
